When jumbo is just not enough, these colossal shrimp are great for the grill. Try them blackened or with your favorite grilling spices. They are sure to impress your guests!
Instructions & Tips
Thaw in refrigeration or under cool running water. Once thawed, rinse with cold water and drain. Then pat dry with paper towels.
Heat grill up to 375°F, using a pastry brush or basting brush, spread a thin layer of oil on each side of the shrimp.
Season with about 1 teaspoon of seasoning per 12 count shrimp, making sure to coat both sides liberally. You can use fajita seasoning, taco seasoning, blackening seasoning or seasoning of your choice. Or just simply salt and pepper.
Place shrimp on the preheated grill using a seafood grilling basket or grill them directly on the grill ( being careful not to drop them in between the grates.
Cook for 5-7 minutes totals, flipping them or stirring them in between. Shrimp should turn firm and look opaque and pinkish.
These can also be steamed, broiled, sautéed, baked or fried.
Serving Suggestions: Make them into shrimp tacos, or burritos!
